Frank Gauthier is a multi-talented senior computer
scientist and COBOL expert with 40 years experience in
information processing. His creative ventures include
the design of a language called Flex talk for Digital
Equipment Corporation. Flex talk is a text to speech
authoring language for simulation and training. He has
written complete
migration programs that transport legacy COBOL
applications to open systems platforms.
Frank believes that COBOL has been and continues to be a
flexible and adaptive language for programming. Frank
publishes niche market magazines and is excited to bring
the first COBOL magazine to the international market.
